More food adventures!

Northbrook Court has been taunting shoppers lately...proclaiming that the Lettuce Entertain You chain is planning a themed restaurant at the shopping mall. This has gone on for almost a year. They announced officially today that Lettuce Entertain You is going to bring a Magic Pan crepe stand to the mall. Yummy! Magic Pan was a chain of restaurants that apparently specialized in crepes in the 1970s. I imagine it was a blend of Walker Brothers, Vie de France, and Panera since googling it brings up all these recipes like orange almond salad.

There is only one revived Magic Pan, and that one is in the Mall of America. Soon, there will be two! I can't wait to see it! The fun thing is that Magic Pan lives on...as I even found a Yahoo! group dedicated to Magic Pan and exchanging recipes from the original chain! The best part of it is that it's rumored that the crepes will cost around $5. Yum!
