Locks of Love

I just easily lost three or four pounds...maybe more. In an hour.

You know how I did it? I cut off 11-12 inches of my hair.

My hair is usually shoulder blade length. But last year I started growing it out for Locks of Love. Earlier this morning, it easily reached midway past my back...and bothered me every time I moved around.

Now it's chin-length...the shortest I've had it in...14 years. Wow.

You too can grow out your hair and donate it to Locks of Love. They need at least 10 inches in a ponytail. There's more information on their website. All ponytails that fit the criteria are made into hairpieces for children suffering from medically related hair loss, such as leukemia treatment to alopecia. Also on the website is a list of locations that will cut your hair for free for the donation.

I feel really light.
