I discovered an entire new brand of drinks!! They are found in Indian supermarkets. I went last week to get samosas and kheer, and my friend also recommended this drink. I just finished drinking the mango Maaza drink, and it is amazing. I highly recommend it. They come in three flavors: mango, papaya and lychee. You can get them in various bottle sizes or even in juice box form.

Upon research into this Maaza brand, I learned that it is owned by the Coca-Cola company. Their Maaza tagline is "Yaari-Dosti Taaza Maaza", which means "Friendship moments with fresh Maaza"! Maaza was acquired by the Coca-Cola company in 1993. As a testament to their far-reaching branding, Coca-Cola owns nearly 400 brands!! Insane!! They even own a brand called "Bimbo Break"!!

Case studying the Coca-Cola company is truly impressive. They are an understated mecca in the drink department, owning such brands as Simply Orange to TAB to Dasani. Then there are brands known elsewhere in the world that I have never seen before such as Maaza. For a company that does billions of dollars in sales worldwide each year, 56% of that by Coke sales alone, they are also doing a new joint venture with Nestle in the near future.

As an American brand, it is surprising to learn that 70% of sales are done outside the country! Although stock prices (currently it is a little above $40.00) are at a low, the potential for the stock prices to rise is great according to future forecasts.
